Talking Heads
This is part a project for Nation Radio to create fifteen videos that would introduce the winners of their Pride of Wales awards, playing above the stage before the recipient is welcomed up. I had created this kind of content many times while in university and been part of documentary projects where this style of interview was used, but never been a self-shooting director responsible for the entire production.
All fifteen videos were shot over the course of two days, with many lessons in lighting and sound being learned along the way.
Promotional Spots
This is a project for Camp America, made to promote one of their recruitment events for new staff. The brief was to create a promo that felt organic and gave a sense of what it’s like to really be on the show floor, creating a sense of excitement and anticipation as the applicants received their summer placements.
I particularly enjoyed working with applicants with special skills to showcase the wide range of placements on offer at the fairs.
Corporate Video
This is a reel created for LENS Media to show off their portfolio of property showcase videos. The brief involved working with a wide variety of mediums, including drone footage and video shot on high-quality video equipment and mobile phones. Meshing everything together was a challenge, but I aimed to make the colour consistent to blur the lines between the different mediums.
This is a cinematic statement piece that aimed to define the creative endeavours of the company and show the level of quality that clients could expect.
